Responsibilities by Trade

The current version of the ASME B30.27 Material Placing Systems Standard clearly outlines the responsibilities of all those working at a job site where concrete is placed with a concrete pump—from the concrete contractor, pour supervisor and placing crew to the concrete pump provider, pump operator and mixer driver. The goal of the standard is to prevent accidents.

If all partners on the job know and understand the safety rules of working with and around a pump, it increases the likelihood that each of our workers will return home safe and sound.

This section includes downloadable flyers that identify the responsibilities assigned to the tradesperson based on their role.
